沖縄の12月は、本土と比べるとずっと温暖です。
とはいえ、「冬」であることに違いはありません。
平均気温は18℃前後。
日差しがある昼間は長袖Tシャツに薄手のパーカーなどで十分過ごせますが、朝晩や、風が強い日、天気が悪い日は冷え込みます。

December in Okinawa is incredibly charming, it’s still technically “Winter.” However, it’s undoubtedly a great off-peak season for tourism. This time, we’ll give you plenty of tips for enjoying Okinawa in the winter, plus all the unique appeal this season has to offer.
What to Wear in December Okinawa & How to Deal with the Cold?
Okinawa in December is much warmer compared to mainland Japan. However, don’t forget it’s still “Winter.” The average temperature hovers around 18 degrees Celsius. During sunny afternoons, you can comfortably get by with a long-sleeved shirt and a light hoodie, but it gets chilly in the mornings and evenings, on windy days, or when the weather is poor.
You Must Prepare for Temperature Swings!
Be sure to pack outerwear like a thick cardigan or a light down jacket.
Coastal tourist spots and the northern areas can be quite windy, so make sure you take solid cold-weather measures.
Especially if you ride a motorcycle, your hands can get completely frozen, so it’s a good idea to pack gloves just in case. While many people use rental cars, if you want to feel the Okinawan wind on a motorbike, don’t forget your cold-weather gear!
Weather Warnings You Might Overlook
In December, there is almost no concern about typhoons, but don’t expect the “dry and sunny” days typical of winter on the mainland.
