全国的な猛暑に見舞われている中、やはり外せないのが「海水浴」ですね。
そこで、沖縄の各ビーチについて話を進めていきましょう。
沖縄のビーチでも美化運動を進めているかどうか？ 答えは「Yes」です。
北谷オフィスに最も近いアラハビーチも、最も美しいビーチとして名を連ねていますが、これも2021年から始まった美化運動ゆえのことではないかと思えます。
特に、アラハビーチはおすすめにふさわしいビーチです。
まず、遊泳期間が4月～10月までと非常に長く、沖縄のビーチの中でも異国情緒を味わうにはもってこいのビーチです。
なぜなら、米軍の兵士とその家族頻繁に訪れるため、その気になればアメリカ人との交流も可能だからです。
北谷オフィスのスタッフも利用者も、このアラハビーチの美化に協力するために、定期的にゴミ拾いに参加してしています。
私たちオフィスや利用者の皆さん以外の方にも、「継続は力なり」という言葉を思い出してもらえればと思います。
小さなことでも、それを続ければ、やがては大きな実を結ぶ――

ところで、ここで話題をガラリと変え、北谷オフィスのスタッフ紹介に移りましょう。
以前紹介したS.Nさんはさまざまなジャンルを聴き込み、それでも「やっぱり自分はパンクロックが好きです」と豪語しました。
そしてもう一人、J.Oさんという、音楽歴はS.Nさんとは異なるものの、やはり「パンクロックが大好きという」という共通のゴールにたどり着きました。
S.Nさんはベース、J.Oさんはドラムスを担当しています。
ここにギターが加われば、スリーピースのパンクバンドが出来上がります。
そしてギターを弾き続け、おふたりと同じく「パンクの心」を根底に、ギターを引き続けている利用者がひとりいますが、この利用者については、またの機会に。
サンクスラボには、このような、「多彩な趣味に熱中し、話の合うメンバー」もいます。

Hello from Chatan Office!
It’s a scorching hot summer across the country, so a day at the beach is a must!
It’s time to talk about the beaches here in Okinawa.
Are beautification campaigns happening on Okinawa’s beaches? The answer is a big ‘yes!’ For instance, Araha Beach, which is super close to the Chatan office, is famous for being one of the most beautiful beaches. That’s likely thanks to the beautification project that kicked off back in 2021.
Araha Beach, in particular, is a great recommendation. For one, the swimming season is super long, running from April all the way to October. It’s also the perfect place to get a taste of a different culture right here in Okinawa. Since U.S. military personnel and their families visit pretty often, it’s a great chance to chat with Americans if you feel like it.
Even small things can lead to something big if you keep at it—what do you think?
Okay, let’s completely switch topics and meet the people who work at the Chatan office.
You might remember Mr. S.N. from a previous post. Well, even after listening to all sorts of music, he’ll still proudly tell you that punk rock is his favorite genre.
And then there’s Mr. J.O. She’s another one who loves punk rock, even though her musical journey is completely different from S.N.’s.
Mr. S.N. plays bass and Ms. J.O. is on drums. Add a guitar, and you’ve got a three-piece punk band right there!
There’s also a user who keeps on shredding the guitar, and just like the two of them, has that ‘punk rock heart’ at their core. But we’ll save his story for another time.
